As we celebrate 20 years of the Mr. Los Angeles Leather Contest, we are excited to take this contest to new ground by presenting the Mr. and Ms. Los Angeles Leather Contest’s together. In an additional joint venture, Ms. LA Leather and the LALC are bringing the Los Angeles Bootblack title back, making LALP 2019 one combined event that will be an anniversary event to remember.

Mr. LA Leather

Now in it's 20th year, the Mr. Los Angeles Leather contest brings together clubs, bars, and businesses affiliated with the leather and kink lifestyle in the city and county of Los Angeles.  Each of these "feeder" organizations produces their own events and contests to select local titleholders as representatives and contestants for Mr. LA Leather.  The winner of Mr. LA Leather has the opportunity to go on and compete for International Mr. Leather in Chicago during Memorial Day weekend.  Mr. LA Leather is produced annually by the Los Angeles Leather Coalition.

LA Bootblack

For 2019, LA Leather Week will feature a fully-realized Los Angeles Bootblack contest.  The 2019 LA Bootblack contest will follow a format similar to other city-wide bootblack contests, with rounds for community judging, skills assessment, interview, crowd interaction, and stage presence.  LA Bootblack is open to all individuals in the Los Angeles area regardless of gender or sexual orientation.  The winner can go on to compete in one of the national titles if they so choose and they meet the eligibility requirements for that contest.  Our heartfelt thanks to the 2017 LA Bootblack, Bootblack Bob, for being the first title appointee and helping to further interest in the title and community.
